വരുവിൻ, നാം ഭൂതലത്തിൽ ഒക്കെയും ചിതറിപ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാൻഒരു പട്ടണവും ആകാശത്തോളം എത്തുന്ന ഒരു ഗോപുരവും പണിക; നമുക്കു ഒരു പേരുമുണ്ടാക്കുക എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.

Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth."
