English Meaning
A reflexive form of the indefinite pronoun one. Commonly writen as two words, one's self.
- One's own self:
- Used reflexively as the direct or indirect object of a verb or the object of a preposition: One can congratulate oneself on one's victories.
- Used in an absolute construction: When in charge oneself, one may rearrange the committees as one pleases.
- One's normal or healthy condition or state.
