സത്യവേദപുസ്തകം : Malayalam Bible (ßeta)  

1. ദൈവം നോഹയെയും അവനോടുകൂടെ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ ഉള്ള സകല ജീവികളെയും സകലമൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഔർത്തു; ദൈവം ഭൂമിമേൽ ഒരു കാറ്റു അടിപ്പിച്ചു; വെള്ളം നിലെച്ചു.

1. Dhaivam Nohayeyum Avanodukoode Pettakaththil Ulla Sakala Jeevikaleyum Sakalamrugangaleyum Aurththu; Dhaivam Bhoomimel Oru Kaattu Adippichu; Vellam Nilechu.

1. But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.

2. ആഴിയുടെ ഉറവുകളും ആകാശത്തിൻറെ കിളിവാതിലുകളും അടഞ്ഞു; ആകാശത്തുനിന്നുള്ള മഴയും നിന്നു.

2. Aazhiyude Uravukalum Aakaashaththinre Kilivaathilukalum Adanju; Aakaashaththuninnulla Mazhayum Ninnu.

2. Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky.

3. വെള്ളം ഇടവിടാതെ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; നൂറ്റമ്പതു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം വെള്ളം കുറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങി.

3. Vellam Idavidaathe Bhoomiyilninnu Irangikkondirunnu; Noottampathu Dhivasam Kazhinjashesham Vellam Kuranju Thudangi.

3. The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down,

4. ഏഴാം മാസം പതിനേഴാം തിയ്യതി പെട്ടകം അരരാത്ത് പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ഉറെച്ചു.

4. Ezhaam Maasam Pathinezhaam Thiyyathi Pettakam Araraaththu Parvvathaththil Urechu.

4. and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

5. പത്താം മാസം വരെ വെള്ളം ഇടവിടാതെ കുറഞ്ഞു; പത്താം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി പർവ്വതശിഖരങ്ങൾ കാണായി.

5. Paththaam Maasam Vare Vellam Idavidaathe Kuranju; Paththaam Maasam Onnaam Thiyyathi Parvvathashikharangal Kaanaayi.

5. The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.

6. നാല്പതു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം നോഹ താൻപെട്ടകത്തിന്നു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്ന കിളിവാതിൽ തുറന്നു.

6. Naalpathu Dhivasam Kazhinjashesham Noha Thaanpettakaththinnu Undaakkiyirunna Kilivaathil Thurannu.

6. After forty days Noah opened the window he had made in the ark

7. അവൻഒരു മലങ്കാക്കയെ പുറത്തു വിട്ടു; അതു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഭൂമിയിൽ വെള്ളം വറ്റിപ്പോയതു വരെ പോയും വന്നും കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

7. Avanoru Malankaakkaye Puraththu Vittu; Athu Purappettu Bhoomiyil Vellam Vattippoyathu Vare Poyum Vannum Kondirunnu.

7. and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.

8. ഭൂമിയിൽ വെള്ളം കുറഞ്ഞുവോ എന്നു അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻഒരു പ്രാവിനെയും തൻറെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു പുറത്തു വിട്ടു.

8. Bhoomiyil Vellam Kuranjuvo Ennu Ariyendathinnu Avanoru Praavineyum Thanre Adukkalninnu Puraththu Vittu.

8. Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.

9. എന്നാൽ സർവ്വഭൂമിയിലും വെള്ളം കിടക്കകൊണ്ടു പ്രാവു കാൽ വെപ്പാൻസ്ഥലം കാണാതെ അവൻറെ അടുക്കൽ പെട്ടകത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവന്നു; അവൻകൈനീട്ടി അതിനെ പിടിച്ചു തൻറെ അടുക്കൽ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ ആക്കി.

9. Ennaal Sarvvabhoomiyilum Vellam Kidakkakondu Praavu Kaal Veppaansthalam Kaanaathe Avanre Adukkal Pettakaththilekku Madangivannu; Avankaineetti Athine Pidichu Thanre Adukkal Pettakaththil Aakki.

9. But the dove could find no place to set its feet because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.

10. ഏഴു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവൻവീണ്ടും ആ പ്രാവിനെ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ നിന്നു പുറത്തു വിട്ടു.

10. Ezhu Dhivasam Kazhinjittu Avanveendum Aa Praavine Pettakaththil Ninnu Puraththu Vittu.

10. He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark.

11. പ്രാവു വൈകുന്നേരത്തു അവൻറെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു; അതിൻറെ വായിൽ അതാ, ഒരു പച്ച ഒലിവില; അതിനാൽ ഭൂമിയിൽ വെള്ളം കുറഞ്ഞു എന്നു നോഹ അറിഞ്ഞു.

11. Praavu Vaikunneraththu Avanre Adukkal Vannu; Athinre Vaayil Athaa, Oru Pacha Olivila; Athinaal Bhoomiyil Vellam Kuranju Ennu Noha Arinju.

11. When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.

12. പിന്നെയും ഏഴു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവൻആ പ്രാവിനെ പുറത്തു വിട്ടു; അതു പിന്നെ അവൻറെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങി വന്നില്ല.

12. Pinneyum Ezhu Dhivasam Kazhinjittu Avanaa Praavine Puraththu Vittu; Athu Pinne Avanre Adukkal Madangi Vannilla.

12. He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.

13. ആറുനൂറ്റൊന്നാം സംവത്സരം ഒന്നാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി ഭൂമിയിൽ വെള്ളം വറ്റിപ്പോയിരുന്നു; നോഹ പെട്ടകത്തിൻറെ മേല്ത്തട്ടു നീക്കി, ഭൂതലം ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കണ്ടു.

13. Aarunoottonnaam Samvathsaram Onnaam Maasam Onnaam Thiyyathi Bhoomiyil Vellam Vattippoyirunnu; Noha Pettakaththinre Melththattu Neekki, Bhoothalam Unangiyirikkunnu Ennu Kandu.

13. By the first day of the first month of Noah's six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry.

14. രണ്ടാം മാസം ഇരുപത്തേഴാം തിയ്യതി ഭൂമി ഉണങ്ങിയിരുന്നു.

14. Randaam Maasam Irupaththezhaam Thiyyathi Bhoomi Unangiyirunnu.

14. By the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry.

15. ദൈവം നോഹയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

15. Dhaivam Nohayodu Arulicheythathu:

15. Then God said to Noah,

16. നീയും നിൻറെ ഭാര്യയും പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരും പെട്ടകത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറത്തിറങ്ങുവിൻ.

16. Neeyum Ninre Bhaaryayum Puthranmaarum Puthranmaarude Bhaaryamaarum Pettakaththilninnu Puraththiranguvin.

16. "Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.

17. പറവകളും മൃഗങ്ങളും നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന ഇഴജാതിയുമായ സർവ്വജഡത്തിൽനിന്നും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരികൂന്ന സകല ജീവികളെയും പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരിക; അവ ഭൂമിയിൽ അനവധിയായി വർദ്ധിക്കയും പെറ്റു പെരുകുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.

17. Paravakalum Mrugangalum Nilaththu Izhayunna Izhajaathiyumaaya Sarvvajadaththilninnum Ninnodukoode Irikoonna Sakala Jeevikaleyum Puraththu Konduvarika; Ava Bhoomiyil Anavadhiyaayi Varddhikkayum Pettu Perukukayum Cheyyatte.

17. Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you-the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground-so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number upon it."

18. അങ്ങനെ നോഹയും അവൻറെ പുത്രന്മാരും ഭാര്യയും പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരും പുറത്തിറങ്ങി.

18. Angane Nohayum Avanre Puthranmaarum Bhaaryayum Puthranmaarude Bhaaryamaarum Puraththirangi.

18. So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives.

19. സകല മൃഗങ്ങളും ഇഴജാതികൾ ഒക്കെയും എല്ലാ പറവകളും ഭൂചരങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ജാതിജാതിയായി പെട്ടകത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി.

19. Sakala Mrugangalum Izhajaathikal Okkeyum Ellaa Paravakalum Bhoocharangalokkeyum Jaathijaathiyaayi Pettakaththil Ninnu Irangi.

19. All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds-everything that moves on the earth-came out of the ark, one kind after another.

20. നോഹ യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു യാഗപീഠം പണിതു, ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള സകല മൃഗങ്ങളിലും ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള എല്ലാപറവകളിലും ചിലതു എടുത്തു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ഹോമയാഗം അർപ്പിച്ചു.

20. Noha Yahovekku Oru Yaagapeedam Panithu, Shuddhiyulla Sakala Mrugangalilum Shuddhiyulla Ellaaparavakalilum Chilathu Eduththu Yaagapeedaththinmel Homayaagam Arppichu.

20. Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it.

21. യഹോവ സൗരഭ്യവാസന മണത്തപ്പോൾ യഹോവ തൻറെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: ഞാൻമനുഷ്യൻറെ നിമിത്തം ഇനി ഭൂമിയെ ശപിക്കയില്ല. മനുഷ്യൻറെ മനോനിരൂപണം ബാല്യംമുതൽ ദോഷമുള്ളതു ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻചെയ്തതു പോലെ സകല ജീവികളെയും ഇനി നശിപ്പിക്കയില്ല.

21. Yahova Saurabhyavaasana Manaththappol Yahova Thanre Hrudhayaththil Arulicheythathu: Njaanmanushyanre Nimiththam Ini Bhoomiye Shapikkayilla. Manushyanre Manoniroopanam Baalyammuthal Dhoshamullathu Aakunnu; Njaancheythathu Pole Sakala Jeevikaleyum Ini Nashippikkayilla.

21. The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.

22. ഭൂമിയുള്ള കാലത്തോളം വിതയും കൊയിത്തും, ശീതവും ഉഷ്ണവും, വേനലും വർഷവും, രാവും പകലും നിന്നുപോകയുമില്ല.

22. Bhoomiyulla Kaalaththolam Vithayum Koyiththum, Sheethavum Ushnavum, Venalum Varshavum, Raavum Pakalum Ninnupokayumilla.

22. "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."
