1. Aamosinte Makanaaya Yeshayyaavu Yehoodhaaraajaakkanmaaraaya Usseeyaavu, Yothaam, Aahaasu, Yehiskeeyaavu Ennivarude Kaalaththu Yehoodhayeyum Yerooshalemineyum Patti Dharshicha Dharshanam.

1. The vision concerning Judah and Jerusalem that Isaiah son of Amoz saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

2. ആകാശമേ, കേൾക്ക; ഭൂമിയേ, ചെവിതരിക; യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ മക്കളെ പോറ്റി വളർത്തി; അവരോ എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. Hear, O heavens! Listen, O earth! For the LORD has spoken: "I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me.

4. അയ്യോ പാപമുള്ള ജാതി! അകൃത്യഭാരം ചുമക്കുന്ന ജനം! ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരുടെ സന്തതി! വഷളായി നടക്കുന്ന മക്കൾ! അവർ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനെ നിരസിച്ചു പുറകോട്ടു മാറിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. Ayyo Paapamulla Jaathi! Akruthyabhaaram Chumakkunna Janam! Dhushpravruththikkaarude Santhathi! Vashalaayi Nadakkunna Makkal! Avar Yahovaye Upekshichu Yisraayelinte Parishuddhane Nirasichu Purakottu Maarikkalanjirikkunnu.

4. Ah, sinful nation, a people loaded with guilt, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.

6. From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness- only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with oil.

9. Unless the LORD Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah.

10. Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah!

11. "The multitude of your sacrifices- what are they to me?" says the LORD. "I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.

13. Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations- I cannot bear your evil assemblies.

14. Your New Moon festivals and your appointed feasts my soul hates. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them.

17. നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാൻ പ� ിപ്പിൻ ; ന്യായം അന്വേഷിപ്പിൻ ; പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നവനെ നേർവ്വഴിക്കാക്കുവിൻ ; അനാഥന്നു ന്യായം നടത്തിക്കൊടുപ്പിൻ ; വിധവേക്കു വേണ്ടി വ്യവഹരിപ്പിൻ .

17. learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.

18. വരുവിൻ , നമുക്കു തമ്മിൽ വാദിക്കാം എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ കുടുഞ്ചുവപ്പായിരുന്നാലും ഹിമംപോലെ വെളുക്കും; രക്താംബരംപോലെ ചുവപ്പായവിരുന്നാലും പഞ്ഞിപോലെ ആയിത്തീരും.

18. Varuvin , Namukku Thammil Vaadhikkaam Ennu Yahova Arulicheyyunnu; Ningalude Paapangal Kudunchuvappaayirunnaalum Himampole Velukkum; Rakthaambarampole Chuvappaayavirunnaalum Panjipole Aayiththeerum.

18. "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

19. നിങ്ങൾ മനസ്സുവെച്ചു കേട്ടനുസരിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ ദേശത്തിലെ നന്മ അനുഭവിക്കും.

19. Ningal Manassuvechu Kettanusarikkunnuvenkil Dheshaththile Nanma Anubhavikkum.

19. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land;

20. മറുത്തു മത്സരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലോ നിങ്ങൾ വാളിന്നിരയായ്തീരും; യഹോവയുടെ വായ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

20. Maruththu Mathsarikkunnu Enkilo Ningal Vaalinnirayaaytheerum; Yahovayude Vaayu Arulicheythirikkunnu.

20. but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword." For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

21. വിശ്വസ്തനഗരം വേശ്യയായി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ! അതിൽ ന്യായം നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു; നീതി വസിച്ചിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോഴോ, കുലപാതകന്മാർ.

21. Vishvasthanagaram Veshyayaayi Theernnirikkunnathu Engane! Athil Nyaayam Niranjirunnu; Neethi Vasichirunnu; Ippozho, Kulapaathakanmaar.

21. See how the faithful city has become a harlot! She once was full of justice; righteousness used to dwell in her- but now murderers!

22. Your silver has become dross, your choice wine is diluted with water.

23. Your rulers are rebels, companions of thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow's case does not come before them.

24. അതുകൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ വല്ലഭനായി സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഹാ, ഞാൻ എന്റെ വൈരികളോടു പകവീട്ടി എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളോടു പ്രതികാരം നടത്തും.

24. Athukondu Yisraayelinte Vallabhanaayi Sainyangalude Yahovayaaya Karththaavu Arulicheyyunnu: Haa, Njaan Ente Vairikalodu Pakaveetti Ente Shathrukkalodu Prathikaaram Nadaththum.

24. Therefore the Lord, the LORD Almighty, the Mighty One of Israel, declares: "Ah, I will get relief from my foes and avenge myself on my enemies.

25. ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൈ നിന്റെ നേരെ തിരിച്ചു നിന്റെ കീടം തീരെ ഉരുക്കിക്കളകയും നിന്റെ വെള്ളീയം ഒക്കെയും നീക്കിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യും.

25. Njaan Ente Kai Ninte Nere Thirichu Ninte Keedam Theere Urukkikkalakayum Ninte Velleeyam Okkeyum Neekkikkalakayum Cheyyum.

25. I will turn my hand against you; I will thoroughly purge away your dross and remove all your impurities.

26. Njaan Ninte Nyaayaadhipanmaare Aadhiyinkal Ennapoleyum Ninte Aalochanakkaare Aarambhaththinkal Ennapoleyum Aakkum; Athinteshesham Nee Neethipuram Ennum Vishvasthanagaram Ennum Vilikkappedum.

26. I will restore your judges as in days of old, your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City."

27. സീയോൻ ന്യായത്താലും അതിൽ മനം തിരിയുന്നവർ നീതിയാലും വീണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെടും.

27. Seeyon Nyaayaththaalum Athil Manam Thiriyunnavar Neethiyaalum Veendedukkappedum.

27. Zion will be redeemed with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness.

28. എന്നാൽ അതിക്രമികൾക്കും പാപികൾക്കും ഒരുപോലെ നാശം ഭവിക്കും; യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവർ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും.

28. Ennaal Athikramikalkkum Paapikalkkum Orupole Naasham Bhavikkum; Yahovaye Upekshikkunnavar Mudinjupokum.

28. But rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those who forsake the LORD will perish.

29. നിങ്ങൾ താല്പര്യം വെച്ചിരുന്ന കരുവേലകങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു നാണിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരുന്ന തോട്ടങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിക്കും.

29. Ningal Thaalparyam Vechirunna Karuvelakangalekkurichu Naanikkum; Ningal Thiranjeduththirunna Thottangalnimiththam Lajjikkum.

29. "You will be ashamed because of the sacred oaks in which you have delighted; you will be disgraced because of the gardens that you have chosen.

30. നിങ്ങൾ ഇല പൊഴിഞ്ഞ കരുവേലകംപോലെയും വെള്ളമില്ലാത്ത തോട്ടംപോലെയും ഇരിക്കും.

30. Ningal Ila Pozhinja Karuvelakampoleyum Vellamillaaththa Thottampoleyum Irikkum.

30. You will be like an oak with fading leaves, like a garden without water.

31. ബലവാൻ ചണനാരുപോലെയും അവന്റെ പണി തീപ്പൊരിപോലെയും ആകും; കെടുത്തുവാൻ ആരുമില്ലാതെ രണ്ടും ഒരുമിച്ചു വെന്തുപോകും.

31. Balavaan Chananaarupoleyum Avante Pani Theepporipoleyum Aakum; Keduththuvaan Aarumillaathe Randum Orumichu Venthupokum.

31. The mighty man will become tinder and his work a spark; both will burn together, with no one to quench the fire."
