1. ബെന്യാമീൻ ദേശത്തു അനാഥോത്തിലെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരിൽ ഹിൽക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ.

1. Benyaameen Dheshaththu Anaathoththile Purohithanmaaril Hilkkeeyaavinte Makanaaya Yiremyaavinte Vachanangal.

1. The words of Jeremiah son of Hilkiah, one of the priests at Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin.

2. അവന്നു യെഹൂദാരാജാവായി ആമോന്റെ മകനായ യോശീയാവിന്റെ കാലത്തു, അവന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ പതിമൂന്നാം ആണ്ടിൽ, യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടായി.

2. Avannu Yehoodhaaraajaavaayi Aamonte Makanaaya Yosheeyaavinte Kaalaththu, Avante Vaazhchayude Pathimoonnaam Aandil, Yahovayude Arulappaadundaayi.

2. The word of the LORD came to him in the thirteenth year of the reign of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah,

3. യെഹൂദാരാജാവായി യോശീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ കാലത്തും യെഹൂദാരാജാവായി യോശീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ പതിനൊന്നാം ആണ്ടിന്റെ അവസാനംവരെയും അഞ്ചാം മാസത്തിൽ യെരൂശലേമ്യരെ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയതുവരെയും തന്നേ അങ്ങനെ ഉണ്ടായി.

3. Yehoodhaaraajaavaayi Yosheeyaavinte Makanaaya Yehoyaakkeeminte Kaalaththum Yehoodhaaraajaavaayi Yosheeyaavinte Makanaaya Sidhekkeeyaavinte Pathinonnaam Aandinte Avasaanamvareyum Anchaam Maasaththil Yerooshalemyare Pravaasaththilekku Kondupoyathuvareyum Thanne Angane Undaayi.

3. and through the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, down to the fifth month of the eleventh year of Zedekiah son of Josiah king of Judah, when the people of Jerusalem went into exile.

5. നിന്നെ ഉദരത്തിൽ ഉരുവാക്കിയതിന്നു മുമ്പെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞു; നീ ഗർഭപാത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറത്തു വന്നതിന്നു മുമ്പെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു, ജാതികൾക്കു പ്രവാചകനായി നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. Ninne Udharaththil Uruvaakkiyathinnu Mumpe Njaan Ninne Arinju; Nee Garbhapaathraththilninnu Puraththu Vannathinnu Mumpe Njaan Ninne Vishuddheekarichu, Jaathikalkku Pravaachakanaayi Niyamichirikkunnu.

5. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

6. എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ : അയ്യോ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, എനിക്കു സംസാരിപ്പാൻ അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ; ഞാൻ ബാലനല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

6. Ennaal Njaan : Ayyo, Yahovayaaya Karththaave, Enikku Samsaarippaan Arinjukoodaa; Njaan Baalanallo Ennu Paranju.

6. "Ah, Sovereign LORD," I said, "I do not know how to speak; I am only a child."

7. അതിന്നു യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: ഞാൻ ബാലൻ എന്നു നീ പറയരുതു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അയക്കുന്ന ഏവരുടെയും അടുക്കൽ നീ പോകയും ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും സംസാരിക്കയും വേണം.

7. Athinnu Yahova Ennodu Arulicheythathu: Njaan Baalan Ennu Nee Parayaruthu; Njaan Ninne Ayakkunna Evarudeyum Adukkal Nee Pokayum Njaan Ninnodu Kalpikkunnathokkeyum Samsaarikkayum Venam.

7. But the LORD said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a child.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.

8. നീ അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടരുതു; നിന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടെന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

8. Nee Avare Bhayappedaruthu; Ninne Viduvikkendathinnu Njaan Ninnodukoode Undennu Yahovayude Arulappaadu.

8. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD.

9. പിന്നെ യഹോവ കൈ നീട്ടി എന്റെ വായെ തൊട്ടു: ഞാൻ എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ വായിൽ തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു;

9. Pinne Yahova Kai Neetti Ente Vaaye Thottu: Njaan Ente Vachanangale Ninte Vaayil Thannirikkunnu;

9. Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, "Now, I have put my words in your mouth.

10. നോക്കുക; നിർമ്മൂലമാക്കുവാനും പൊളിപ്പാനും നശിപ്പിപ്പാനും ഇടിച്ചുകളവാനും പണിവാനും നടുവാനുംവേണ്ടി ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഇന്നു ജാതികളുടെമേലും രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെമേലും ആക്കിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

10. Nokkuka; Nirmmoolamaakkuvaanum Polippaanum Nashippippaanum Idichukalavaanum Panivaanum Naduvaanumvendi Njaan Ninne Innu Jaathikaludemelum Raajyangaludemelum Aakkivechirikkunnu Ennu Yahova Ennodu Kalpichu.

10. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant."

11. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായി: യിരെമ്യാവേ, നീ എന്തു കാണുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. ബദാം (ജാഗ്രത്) വൃക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ഒരു കൊമ്പു കാണുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

11. Yahovayude Arulappaadu Enikkundaayi: Yiremyaave, Nee Enthu Kaanunnu Ennu Chodhichu. Badhaam (jaagrathu) Vrukshaththinte Oru Kompu Kaanunnu Ennu Njaan Paranju.

11. The word of the LORD came to me: "What do you see, Jeremiah?I see the branch of an almond tree," I replied.

12. യഹോവ എന്നോടു: നീ കണ്ടതു ശരി തന്നേ; എന്റെ വചനം നിവർത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ജാഗരിച്ചുകൊള്ളും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

12. Yahova Ennodu: Nee Kandathu Shari Thanne; Ente Vachanam Nivarththikkendathinnu Njaan Jaagarichukollum Ennu Arulicheythu.

12. The LORD said to me, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled."

13. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം എനിക്കുണ്ടായി: നീ എന്തു കാണുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. തിളെക്കുന്ന ഒരു കാലം കാണുന്നു. അതു വടക്കുനിന്നു പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി വരുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

13. Yahovayude Arulappaadu Randaam Praavashyam Enikkundaayi: Nee Enthu Kaanunnu Ennu Chodhichu. Thilekkunna Oru Kaalam Kaanunnu. Athu Vadakkuninnu Prathyakshamaayi Varunnu Ennu Njaan Paranju.

13. The word of the LORD came to me again: "What do you see?I see a boiling pot, tilting away from the north," I answered.

14. യഹോവ എന്നോടു: വടക്കുനിന്നു ദേശത്തിലെ സർവ്വനിവാസികൾക്കും അനർത്ഥം വരും.

14. Yahova Ennodu: Vadakkuninnu Dheshaththile Sarvvanivaasikalkkum Anarththam Varum.

14. The LORD said to me, "From the north disaster will be poured out on all who live in the land.

15. ഞാൻ വടക്കെ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ വംശങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും വിളിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; അവർ വന്നു, ഔരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ സിംഹാസനം യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ പടിവാതിലുകളുടെ പ്രവേശനത്തിങ്കലും ചുറ്റും അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ മതിലുകൾക്കും നേരെയും യെഹൂദയിലെ എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കും നേരെയും വേക്കും.

15. Njaan Vadakke Raajyangalile Vamshangale Okkeyum Vilikkum Ennu Yahovayude Arulappaadu; Avar Vannu, Auroruththan Thaanthaante Simhaasanam Yerooshaleminte Padivaathilukalude Praveshanaththinkalum Chuttum Athinte Ellaa Mathilukalkkum Nereyum Yehoodhayile Ellaapattanangalkkum Nereyum Vekkum.

15. I am about to summon all the peoples of the northern kingdoms," declares the LORD. "Their kings will come and set up their thrones in the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem; they will come against all her surrounding walls and against all the towns of Judah.

16. അവർ എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കും ധൂപം കാട്ടി തങ്ങളുടെ കൈപ്പണികളെ നമസ്കരിക്കയും ചെയ്ത സകലദോഷത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ അവരോടു ന്യായപദം കഴിക്കും.

16. Avar Enne Upekshikkayum Anyadhevanmaarkkum Dhoopam Kaatti Thangalude Kaippanikale Namaskarikkayum Cheytha Sakaladhoshaththeyum Kurichu Njaan Avarodu Nyaayapadham Kazhikkum.

16. I will pronounce my judgments on my people because of their wickedness in forsaking me, in burning incense to other gods and in worshiping what their hands have made.

17. ആകയാൽ നീ അരകെട്ടി എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്ക; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവരെ കണ്ടു ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകരുതു.

17. Aakayaal Nee Araketti Ezhunnettu Njaan Ninnodu Kalpikkunnathokkeyum Avarodu Prasthaavikka; Njaan Ninne Avarude Mumpil Bhramippikkaathe Irikkendathinnu Nee Avare Kandu Bhramichupokaruthu.

17. "Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them.

18. ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിന്നെ സർവ്വദേശത്തിന്നും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാർക്കും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കും പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും ദേശത്തിലെ ജനത്തിന്നും നേരെ ഉറപ്പുള്ളോരു പട്ടണവും ഇരിമ്പുതൂണും താമ്രമതിലുകളും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

18. Njaan Innu Ninne Sarvvadheshaththinnum Yehoodhaaraajaakkanmaarkkum Prabhukkanmaarkkum Purohithanmaarkkum Dheshaththile Janaththinnum Nere Urappulloru Pattanavum Irimputhoonum Thaamramathilukalum Aakkiyirikkunnu.

18. Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land-against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land.

19. അവർ നിന്നോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യും; നിന്നെ ജയിക്കയില്ലതാനും; നിന്നെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

19. Avar Ninnodu Yuddham Cheyyum; Ninne Jayikkayillathaanum; Ninne Rakshippaan Njaan Ninnodukoode Undu Ennu Yahovayude Arulappaadu.

19. They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD.
