16. ഇവർ സംഘത്തിൽനിന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും യിസ്രായേലിൽ സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരും ആയിരുന്നു.

16. Ivar Samghaththilninnu Vilikkappettavarum Thangalude Pithrugothrangalil Prabhukkanmaarum Yisraayelil Sahasraadhipanmaarum Aayirunnu.

16. These were the men appointed from the community, the leaders of their ancestral tribes. They were the heads of the clans of Israel.

49. "You must not count the tribe of Levi or include them in the census of the other Israelites.

50. ലേവ്യരെ സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾക്കും വസ്തുക്കൾക്കും ഒക്കെ വിചാരകന്മാരായി നിയമിക്കേണം; അവർ തിരുനിവാസവും അതിന്റെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും വഹിക്കേണം; അവർ അതിന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്കയും തിരുനിവാസത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും പാളയമടിച്ചു പാർക്കയും വേണം.

50. Levyare Saakshyanivaasaththinnum Athinte Upakaranangalkkum Vasthukkalkkum Okke Vichaarakanmaaraayi Niyamikkenam; Avar Thirunivaasavum Athinte Upakaranangalokkeyum Vahikkenam; Avar Athinnu Shushroosha Cheykayum Thirunivaasaththinte Chuttum Paalayamadichu Paarkkayum Venam.

50. Instead, appoint the Levites to be in charge of the tabernacle of the Testimony-over all its furnishings and everything belonging to it. They are to carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they are to take care of it and encamp around it.

51. തിരുനിവാസം പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ ലേവ്യർ അതു അഴിച്ചെടുക്കേണം; തിരുനിവാസം അടിക്കുമ്പോൾ ലേവ്യർ അതു നിവിർത്തേണം; ഒരന്യൻ അടുത്തുവന്നാൽ മരണ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

51. Thirunivaasam Purappedumpol Levyar Athu Azhichedukkenam; Thirunivaasam Adikkumpol Levyar Athu Nivirththenam; Oranyan Aduththuvannaal Marana Shiksha Anubhavikkenam.

51. Whenever the tabernacle is to move, the Levites are to take it down, and whenever the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall do it. Anyone else who goes near it shall be put to death.

52. യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഗണംഗണമായി ഔരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ പാളയത്തിലും ഔരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ കൊടിക്കരികെയും ഇങ്ങനെ കൂടാരം അടിക്കേണം.

52. Yisraayelmakkal Ganamganamaayi Auroruththan Thaanthaante Paalayaththilum Auroruththan Thaanthaante Kodikkarikeyum Ingane Koodaaram Adikkenam.

52. The Israelites are to set up their tents by divisions, each man in his own camp under his own standard.

53. എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സംഘത്തിന്മേൽ ക്രോധം ഉണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ലേവ്യർ സാക്ഷ്യനിവാസത്തിന്നു ചുറ്റം പാളയമിറങ്ങേണം; ലേവ്യർ സാക്ഷ്യ നിവാസത്തിന്റെ കാര്യം നോക്കേണം

53. Ennaal Yisraayelmakkalude Samghaththinmel Krodham Undaakaathirikkendathinnu Levyar Saakshyanivaasaththinnu Chuttam Paalayamirangenam; Levyar Saakshya Nivaasaththinte Kaaryam Nokkenam

53. The Levites, however, are to set up their tents around the tabernacle of the Testimony so that wrath will not fall on the Israelite community. The Levites are to be responsible for the care of the tabernacle of the Testimony."

54. എന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ എല്ലാം യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ചെയ്തു; അതു പോലെ തന്നെ അവർ ചെയ്തു.

54. Ennu Yahova Mosheyodu Kalpichathupole Ellaam Yisraayelmakkal Cheythu; Athu Pole Thanne Avar Cheythu.

54. The Israelites did all this just as the LORD commanded Moses.
