11. filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God.

12. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, എനിക്കു ഭവിച്ചതു സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ അഭിവൃദ്ധിക്കു കാരണമായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിവാൻ ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

14. സഹോദരന്മാർ മിക്കപേരും എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളാൽ കർത്താവിൽ ധൈര്യം പൂണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം ഭയംകൂടാതെ പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാൻ അധികം തുനിയുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. Sahodharanmaar Mikkaperum Ente Bandhanangalaal Karththaavil Dhairyam Poondu Dhaivaththinte Vachanam Bhayamkoodaathe Prasthaavippaan Adhikam Thuniyukayum Cheythirikkunnu.

14. Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly.

15. ചിലർ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ അസൂയയും പിണക്കവും നിമിത്തം പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു;

15. Chilar Kristhuvine Asooyayum Pinakkavum Nimiththam Prasamgikkunnu;

15. It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.

16. ചിലരോ നല്ല മനസ്സോടെ തന്നേ. അവർ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിവാദത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ കിടക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അതു സ്നേഹത്താൽ ചെയ്യുന്നു.

16. Chilaro Nalla Manassode Thanne. Avar Suvisheshaththinte Prathivaadhaththinnaayittu Njaan Ivide Kidakkunnu Ennu Arinjittu Athu Snehaththaal Cheyyunnu.

18. പിന്നെ എന്തു? നാട്യമായിട്ടോ പരമാർത്ഥമായിട്ടോ ഏതുവിധമായാലും ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ അല്ലോ പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നതു. ഇതിൽ ഞാൻ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; ഇനിയും സന്തോഷിക്കും.

18. Pinne Enthu? Naadyamaayitto Paramaarththamaayitto Ethuvidhamaayaalum Kristhuvine Allo Prasamgikkunnathu. Ithil Njaan Santhoshikkunnu; Iniyum Santhoshikkum.

19. Ningalude Praarththanayaalum Yeshukristhuvinte Aathmaavinte Sahaayaththaalum Athu Enikku Rakshaakaaranamaayiththeerum Ennu Njaan Ariyunnu.

19. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.

20. അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ഒന്നിലും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകാതെ പൂർണ്ണധൈര്യം പൂണ്ടു ക്രിസ്തു എന്റെ ശരീരത്തിങ്കൽ ജീവനാൽ ആകട്ടെ മരണത്താൽ ആകട്ടെ എപ്പോഴും എന്നപോലെ ഇപ്പോഴും മഹിമപ്പെടുകേയുള്ളു എന്നു പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കയും പ്രത്യശിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

20. Angane Njaan Onnilum Lajjichupokaathe Poornnadhairyam Poondu Kristhu Ente Shareeraththinkal Jeevanaal Aakatte Maranaththaal Aakatte Eppozhum Ennapole Ippozhum Mahimappedukeyullu Ennu Pratheekshikkayum Prathyashikkayum Cheyyunnu.

20. I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

22. Ennaal Jadaththil Jeevikkunnathinaal Ente Velekku Phalam Varumenkil Ethuthiranjedukkendu Ennu Njaan Ariyunnilla.

22. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know!

23. ഇവ രണ്ടിനാലും ഞാൻ ഞെരുങ്ങുന്നു; വിട്ടു പിരിഞ്ഞു ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിപ്പാൻ എനിക്കു കാംക്ഷയുണ്ടു; അതു അത്യുത്തമമല്ലോ.

23. I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;

25. Ingane Urechukondu Ningalude Vishvaasaththinte Abhivruddhikkum Santhoshaththinnumaayi Thanne Njaan Jeevanodirikkum Ennum Ningalodu Ellaavarodum Koode Irikkum Ennum Ariyunnu.

25. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith,

26. so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.

27. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടോ ദൂരത്തിരുന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ അവസ്ഥ കേട്ടിട്ടോ നിങ്ങൾ ഏകാത്മാവിൽ നിലനിന്നു എതിരാളികളാൽ ഒന്നിലും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകാതെ ഏകമനസ്സോടെ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നായി പോരാട്ടം കഴിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യമാംവണ്ണം മാത്രം നടപ്പിൻ .

27. Njaan Ningale Vannu Kanditto Dhooraththirunnu Ningalude Avastha Kettitto Ningal Ekaathmaavil Nilaninnu Ethiraalikalaal Onnilum Kulungippokaathe Ekamanassode Suvisheshaththinte Vishvaasaththinnaayi Poraattam Kazhikkunnu Ennu Grahikkendathinnu Kristhuvinte Suvisheshaththinnu Yogyamaamvannam Maathram Nadappin .

27. Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel

28. ഇതു അവരുടെ നാശത്തിന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷെക്കും ഒരു അടയാളമാകുന്നു;

28. without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved--and that by God.

29. അതു ദൈവം തന്നേ വെച്ചതാകുന്നു. ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ വിശ്വസിപ്പാൻ മാത്രമല്ല അവന്നു വേണ്ടി കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിപ്പാനും കൂടെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരം നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
