3. Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

6. Namme Snehikkunnavanum Nammude Paapam Peaakki Namme Thante Rakthaththaal Viduvichu Thante Pithaavaaya Dhaivaththinnu Namme Raajyavum Pureaahithanmaarum Aakkiththeerththavanumaayavannu Ennennekkum Mahathvavum Balavum; Aamen.

6. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father--to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

9. I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

10. കർത്തൃദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ആത്മവിവശനായി:

11. Nee Kaanunnathu Oru Pusthakaththil Ezhuthi Ephesosu, Smurnnaa; Perggamosu, Thuyathaira, Sarddhisu, Philadhelphya, Lavodhikkyaa Enna Ezhu Sabhakalkkum Ayakkuka Enningane Kaahalaththinnoththa Oru Mahaanaadham Ente Purakil Kettu.

11. which said: "Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea."

12. എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ച നാദം എന്തു എന്നു കാണ്മാൻ ഞാൻ തിരിഞ്ഞു.

12. I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

13. and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man," dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest.

14. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.

15. കാൽ ഉലയിൽ ചുട്ടു പഴുപ്പിച്ച വെള്ളോട്ടിന്നു സദൃശവും അവന്റെ ശബ്ദം പെരുവെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ഇരെച്ചൽപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു. അവന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യിൽ ഏഴു നക്ഷത്രം ഉണ്ടു;

15. Kaal Ulayil Chuttu Pazhuppicha Velleaattinnu Sadhrushavum Avante Shabdham Peruvellaththinte Irechalpeaaleyum Aayirunnu. Avante Valankayyil Ezhu Nakshathram Undu;

15. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.

16. അവന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നു മൂർച്ചയേറിയ ഇരുവായ്ത്തലയുള്ള വാൾ പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; അവന്റെ മുഖം സൂര്യൻ ശക്തിയോടെ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

16. Avante Vaayil Ninnu Moorchayeriya Iruvaayththalayulla Vaal Purappedunnu; Avante Mukham Sooryan Shakthiyeaade Prakaashikkunnathupeaale Aayirunnu.

16. In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.

17. അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞാൻ മരിച്ചവനെപ്പോലെ അവന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ വീണു. അവൻ വലങ്കൈ എന്റെ മേൽ വെച്ചു: ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ, ഞാൻ ആദ്യനും അന്ത്യനും ജീവനുള്ളവനും ആകുന്നു.

17. Avane Kandittu Njaan Marichavaneppeaale Avante Kaalkkal Veenu. Avan Valankai Ente Mel Vechu: Bhayappedendaa, Njaan Aadhyanum Anthyanum Jeevanullavanum Aakunnu.

17. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.

18. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

19. നീ കണ്ടതും ഇപ്പോൾ ഉള്ളതും ഇനി സംഭവിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്നതും

19. "Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later.

20. എന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യിൽ കണ്ട ഏഴു നക്ഷത്രത്തിന്റെ മർമ്മവും ഏഴു പൊൻനിലവിളക്കിന്റെ വിവരവും എഴുതുക. ഏഴു നക്ഷത്രം ഏഴു സഭകളുടെ ദൂതന്മാരാകുന്നു; ഏഴു നിലവിളക്കു ഏഴു സഭകൾ ആകുന്നു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

20. Ente Valankayyil Kanda Ezhu Nakshathraththinte Marmmavum Ezhu Ponnilavilakkinte Vivaravum Ezhuthuka. Ezhu Nakshathram Ezhu Sabhakalude Dhoothanmaaraakunnu; Ezhu Nilavilakku Ezhu Sabhakal Aakunnu Ennu Kalpichu.

20. The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
