That part of the fore limb below the forearm or wrist in man and monkeys, and the corresponding part in many other animals; manus; paw. See Manus.

- To give or pass with or as if with the hands; transmit: Hand me your keys.
- To aid, direct, or conduct with the hands: The usher handed the patron to a reserved seat.
